We're off! Our first stop, (aside from pit stops,) is Knoxville, to say hi to Jason's parents and drop off didymus. Then to Memphis. A good night's sleep and then a drive for thirteen hours comes tomorrow to texas.
Just had an exercising and dance party in a bathroom in Tennessee with indigo and paula. Fun. Can't wait for my birthday, waking up at padre island, then going to Austin and eating fondue. I think this is a really great trip.
Love, Tessa
This is our first day, what can i say? we're just driving, driving, and driving. we stopped once for a bathroom break. TEssa and i saw this old lady witha fur coat, black high heels, short red curly hair and humongous glasses!
Freaky! Anyway . . . . things are good so far. . . goodbye AMS.
Today our bus of squealing chickens, almost jumping out of their seats in excitement, flew for the first time into eighteen days field trips. we sat in the car from 9:30 AM until about 7:30 pm. Reaching our first destination, Memphis, TN. Ronald McDonald, our first pair of open arms, welcomed us to the Friends Meeting house of Memphis.
We put out our sleeping pads and bags, anxious to close our dark-circled eyes and slumber. Bears in hibernation for only a few hours, awaiting our open eyes at six or so when we will . . . . get on the road again.
love,
Indigo Blue.
